16-year-old shot into ex-girlfriend’s apartment, threatened family

Kent Law enforcement arrested a 16-year-outdated accused of shooting into his ex-girlfriend’s condominium and harassing her above the cell phone whilst law enforcement searched for him.

Officers were being called to a domestic violence incident at the Central Flats Residences Wednesday early morning, positioned off of Central Avenue in close proximity to S 235th Pl. Authorities say a 16-calendar year-previous unexpectedly showed up at his ex-girlfriend’s apartment and allegedly threatened to shoot her if she did not allow him in.

She referred to as 911, and the suspect ran off right before police arrived just minutes afterwards.

Law enforcement spoke with the victim, who was in the condominium with her two-yr-outdated youngster. Though officers searched the spot, the 16-year-aged suspect reportedly came back and shot several occasions into the condominium. No just one was hurt in the shooting, and police say the suspect ran into the woods close by.

Officers heard the pictures and searched for the suspect, but could not uncover him. As they scoured the space, the suspect reportedly stored harassing the sufferer over the phone, declaring he was armed with a rifle and viewing law enforcement, then threatening her and her loved ones in Burien and saying he would not surrender to law enforcement, authorities say.

A K9 group and helicopter search could not locate the suspect, so Burien Police have been sent to the house of the victim’s relatives there to be escorted to a safe location. The suspect was not uncovered there possibly.

Rather, detectives figured out the teenager was at an apartment sophisticated in SeaTac, so the Valley SWAT Staff was named in to arrest him.
