We took the Encompass by Laminex panelling right up to the ceiling, and picked a gentle, warm gray palette. Sure, you can paint these panels in situ with a roller – but we find for best outcomes it’s a fantastic strategy to pre-paint a person coat right before set up, and then do a 2nd coat the moment they’re on the walls (a thick, fluffy roller will work fantastic on these panels).
Just after the panelling was installed and painted, it was time to convert our attention to the window cure and furnishings. We released a sheer curtain in silvery gray (Warwick Fabrics ‘Aesop’ sheer linen in ‘Smoke’), to soften the window body and provide an further layer of texture into the place. We were lucky enough to have this curtain personalized made by Zenn Structure – guaranteeing the ideal measurement and collecting. Never neglect – curtains should often skim the ground!
And finally, we introduced a number of new home furnishings parts to actually elevate the styling in this area. The Orson Spherical Buffet by Globewest was the best in shape listed here – its curved design enhances the curves in our demi-round wall panelling, and the boucle tub chair (also by Globewest) adds the fantastic luxe finishing contact.
And which is it – a basic transformation, that actually does completely change the ambiance in this place!
