15 people displaced in SE Houston condominium fireplace

Fifteen people have been displaced and just one person was wounded in a hearth that broke out Thursday afternoon at an condominium advanced in southeast Houston, officers said.

The Houston Fireplace Office tackled the flames about 1:30 p.m. at an apartment on the 7900 block of Bellfort Avenue,  just west of Interstate 45, in accordance to the company. The fireplace was under regulate by 2:20 p.m. and component of the making collapsed.

The Crimson Cross will assist the displaced family members, in accordance to the fire office. One particular male was taken to a close by medical center with not known accidents.

The department’s arson bureau is investigating the hearth.
